We’re bringing a little extra personality to the ice at McGregor Skate with eight themed skate nights throughout the season. From après-ski style and disco fever to rhinestones, retro looks, and outfits that deserve their moment, there’s a reason to dress up all winter long.
The best part? Dress for the theme and get 50% off your skate rental. The festivities are free to attend, so bring your friends, bring your best looks, and meet us on the ice.
December: Holiday Hits the Ice
THURSDAYS · 6 PM
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3: Après Skate
Ski lodge style, no mountain required. Break out the vintage ski jackets, oversized puffers, goggles, and your best après-ski looks for a night on the ice.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10: Ugly Sweater Party
The uglier, the better. Dust off your most outrageous holiday sweater and bring your festive spirit to the rink. Bonus points for lights, tinsel, and questionable fashion choices.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17: Disco on Ice
We’re bringing disco fever to the rink. Think sequins, metallics, bell bottoms, and plenty of sparkle. Dress to impress and get ready to groove.
January: New Year, New Looks

SATURDAY, JANUARY 2: Pajamas on Ice
New year, same pajamas. Roll out of bed and onto the ice in your favorite flannels, fuzzy onesies, or matching pajama sets. Comfort is the dress code.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 9: Rhinestone Rodeo
The Stock Show is in town, and we’re bringing a little Western flair to the ice. Break out the denim, fringe, cowboy hats, and rhinestones for a skate night with some serious cowboy energy.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 16: ’80s Night
Big hair, bold colors, and all the retro attitude. Throw on your neon, leg warmers, and favorite ’80s-inspired gear for a totally tubular night on the ice.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 23: Nowhere to Wear It
You know that outfit you’ve been saving for the perfect occasion? This is it. Sequins, ball gowns, faux fur, outrageous accessories, or that impulse purchase still hanging in your closet with the tags on. No such thing as overdressed.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 30: Neon Nights
Go bright or go home. We’re closing out theme night season with bold colors, fluorescent fashion, and electric energy. The brighter your outfit, the better.
