Hosted by Cottonwood Institute, The Throwdown has become one of the best charity cornhole tournaments in Denver. This event is specifically designed for fun people who want to enjoy an afternoon outside playing cornhole with delicious food and beverages, while supporting a great local educational non-profit.
McGregor Square is named after former Colorado Rockies President Keli McGregor to commemorate his many contributions to the city and the team over the years. Mr. McGregor, unfortunately, passed away in 2010 at the age of 48.
McGregor Square’s 17,000-square-foot outdoor gathering space features a 66' by 20' LED screen and hosts movies, festivals, concerts, and more events throughout the year.
McGregor Square is home to a number of retail outlets, stores, and businesses, including Tattered Cover, the largest independent bookstore in Denver, the Rockies Flagship Store, Flowers on the Vine, and Rock Fitness.
Many restaurants can be found at McGregor Square near Coors Field, including Milepost Zero Food Hall, The Rally Bar, Carmine’s Italian Restaurant, Starbucks, The Original, The Grandstand Café, and Tom’s Watch Bar.
