Cottonwood Throwdown: Cornhole Tournament

Cost:

Sponsorship and ticket prices differ depending on levels. Each level has differing benefits associated with the cost. Each team includes 2 players and 2 spectators, unlimited food and beverages, and event signage and shout outs to promote your company. You can have multiple teams. All net proceeds benefit Cottonwood Institute and our programs. Do it for the kids y’all! What is the Throwdown?

The Throwdown is our annual charity cornhole tournament for Denver area professionals who want to enjoy an afternoon outside tossing bags, while supporting a great local educational non-profit. This is a fun tournament with our sponsors, donors, and program partners- no experience is needed to participate! This is a great opportunity to meet others who are supporting local causes in Colorado.

Details:

Check-in will begin at 9:00am. Start off your morning with some time to network with amazing Cottonwood supporters with a fantastic Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar to kick off the day. The tournament will start promptly at 10:00am and wrap up by 2:00pm-ish.

The tournament will start with a 4-team round-robin with 2 people per team. Each team in the round robin will play one another, record their wins and scores, and then the top 2 teams from each round robin will advance to the winners’ bracket.

A company may choose to pay for their entire round-robin bracket and invite key prospects, customers, clients, vendors, employees, etc., or they may choose to challenge companies from another industry altogether. The benefit is that you get to play with people you want to network with for the first few hours of the tournament, and it will help keep the tournament more fun and casual.

• A guarantee of 3 games of cornhole with a 4 team round-robin format. The winner of each round-robin will advance to the winner’s bracket
• The winning team will receive an official Throwdown trophy for serious bragging rights
• The top 3 teams of each bracket get to choose amazing prizes
• Sponsor logos are listed on our event website and in promotional materials
• Remember, this is for charity and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Cottonwood Institute students, so do it for the kids, y’all!
