There’s nothing quite like winter at McGregor Square. McGregor Skate brings outdoor ice skating to the heart of downtown Denver, with a full-size rink surrounded by restaurants, bars and all the energy of LoDo.
Just steps from Coors Field and a short walk from Union Station, McGregor Skate is an easy winter outing for date nights, family days, holiday plans and anyone looking for a reason to get outside and embrace the season.
McGregor Skate brings outdoor ice skating to the heart of downtown Denver. Located in the McGregor Square plaza in LoDo, the rink is a favorite winter destination for locals, families and visitors looking to make the most of the season.
Opening Friday, November 27, McGregor Skate welcomes skaters of all ages, with skate rentals available on-site. Make a reservation in advance or stop by—we keep a limited number of spots available for walk-up skaters, even when online reservations are full.

McGregor Skate is open November 27 through January 25 for the winter season. Hours vary throughout the season, so check the schedule below before heading to the rink.

Sunday: 12–6 PM
Special Hours: McGregor Skate will be open from 12–4 PM for the Stock Show Parade on Thursday, January 8th.

The rink temporarily closes for routine ice cleaning throughout the day. We recommend planning your visit around the times below to get the most out of your skate.
